So many people that decide they're going to try to lose weight go about it the wrong way. Their intentions are good, but like most of us, we want results and we want them fast! I've tried different diets in the past (many years ago) and I wasn't able to stick to any of them. As soon as I said the word "diet", all I could do was think about eating!!! I've known people that have tried extreme diets, from juicing to eating only soup to almost starving themselves. Of the ones that were able to stick to the diets, most of them lost weight, although they were so grouchy all of the time, no one could stand to be around them. The dieters would either reach their goal or were just so miserable they quit. They would then go back to their regular diets and would gain all of their weight back, and more. Sound familiar? Let's try to look at weight lose in a different light. If you make 1 healthy lifestyle change per month, after one year, that adds up to a tremendous lifestyle change! Plus you don't have to starve yourself and you will lose weight. Once you start to make these healthy changes, your body adjusts and you'll stop having these unhealthy cravings that you used to have. Are you up for the challenge? You can do this! Remember, 1 healthy change per month, and it doesn't have to necesserily have to be a diet change, take the stairs instead of the elevator or park your car in the furthest parking spot instead of circleing around to find the closest one. Think of it as long term instead of short term, set mini goals and I promise you'll be more successful!

Believe in Yourself!
